Mixed by Design, a designer-grade home store by R Johnston Interiors, has moved and revitalized a building on Main Street in Old Town Newhall.
While Mixed by Design has called Main Street its home for six years, the business moved a few doors down from its original location after revitalizing a 100-year-old building.
“As professional designers, our responsibility to our clients is to educate them on the furniture, accessories, and art we are putting into their homes or properties,” Rebecca Johnston, founder and principal at R Johnston Interiors, said in a prepared statement. “We are responsible for the health and safety of their built environment, but we believe that goes farther. We are stewards of our environment and of our community.”
The new home store sells furniture, lighting, accent decor and more.
