The mood of fear and hate during COVID was absolutely disgusting. The arrogant censorship and destructive authoritarianism it bred were even worse — especially coming from the same ilk who created the virus in the first place.
But it is the lack of accountability, or even apology, that remains the worst thing of all. There’s no doubt the fearful haters would do it all over again, in an instant.
