This election is well summarized by that iconic shot of Donald Trump, face bloodied and fist raised — but not just the masculine sacrifice and bravery in the face of libel and lawfare and lead bullets. It’s also that diversity, equity and inclusion agent, out of her depth, coddled into the wrong place at the wrong time by the wokey views of people like Taylor Swift.
