Making Measles Great Again is now a reality. This dangerous disease has risen its ugly head again after being eliminated in the U.S. in 2000, according to the Centers for Disease Control. Over 1,277 cases have occurred this year alone, according to the data from John Hopkins University Center for Outbreak Response Innovation. (As of this writing) there have been 155 hospitalizations and three deaths caused by this dangerous disease, according to the CDC.

There are 280,000 kindergartners who are at risk of getting the measles if they don’t get the measles vaccine, according to US News. Measles is one of the most contagious diseases known to humans. “One infected patient can spread measles to up to nine out of 10 susceptible close contacts,” according to the CDC.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has fired experts on a federal vaccine panel and canceled grants that fund vaccine research. RFK Jr. has been telling pregnant women and parents of (healthy) children there is no need to be vaccinated against COVID-19. RFK Jr. is being sued by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

RFK Jr. is not a physician nor a researcher and he and President Donald Trump have been at the forefront of dubbing the “Make America Healthy Again” movement, which has turned out in upending whole parts of the country’s health care and scientific foundation. The health of Americans will end up in a disaster due to unqualified people like RFK Jr.
