Completing their goal of making 300 mastectomy pillows, the “Solidarity Sewing Workshop” dropped off the pillows to the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital on Friday. The women, who had made over 20 extra pillows, donated them to support the patients who visit the center and have endured surgery throughout the year.
