Andrew Taban’s column “Love, Dysfunction, and the Pursuit of Justice for Victims” (Feb. 17) was a treatise in stunning hypocrisy. He bemoans the slow release of the Epstein files by the Justice Department. He cries out for justice for the 43 victims of the Epstein sex trafficking business.
Come on, Andrew, don’t wear your hypocrisy so blatantly on your sleeve. You only want to find some connection of wrongdoing with President Donald Trump. If there is no evidence linking 47 to the sex trafficking, which there isn’t, you will drop the subject like a hot potato. Protect the children indeed!
If you are truly interested in the trafficking of children, why aren’t you stepping up to the plate for the 233,000 unaccompanied alien children who illegally crossed our southern border along with 10-20 million adults? This invasion of our country was, of course, encouraged and sponsored by the Biden administration.
It is Tom Homan and his Immigration and Customs Enforcement heroes who are committed to finding these lost and forgotten children — all the while being falsely vilified as masked thugs.
What about the victims of murder, rape, assault, drug overdoses and sex trafficking at the hands of illegal aliens? Where are your crocodile tears for them, Andrew?
