A pedestrian is dead following a reported hit-and-run crash in Santa Clarita on Friday night.
The crash was first reported shortly before 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway and Tourney Road at the western edge of Santa Clarita city limits.
A 911 caller reported seeing a body in the roadway and a vehicle depart the scene.
Deputies were continuing to investigate as of 9:20 p.m.
