Hart district announces leadership appointments

The William S. Hart Union High School District has announced the appointment of two seasoned educators to key leadership roles within the district.  

Jan Daisher has been named the new chief administrative officer of student services and leadership support, and Elizabeth Wilson will serve as the principal of Learning Post Academy. 

In the role of CAO, Daisher will provide leadership in student services, and she will mentor and support administrators throughout the district, said a news release from the district. Daisher brings 20 years of experience in educational administration, previously serving as director, principal and assistant principal within the Hart district.

“Having excelled in multiple roles across our district, Mrs. Daisher possesses a deep understanding of our schools,” Superintendent Michael Vierra said in the release. “Her unwavering commitment to our district and community will be an invaluable asset as she supports students, families and leadership in her new position.”   

Wilson joins Learning Post Academy as principal, bringing a passion for inclusive learning environments, the release said. With 29 years in the field of education, Wilson most recently served as assistant principal at Hart High School. 

Vierra also shared enthusiasm for the new principal: “Mrs. Wilson has built a career on the foundation of student-centered leadership. Her history of identifying creative solutions to support diverse student needs ensures that Learning Post Academy will be an environment where every child feels seen, heard and empowered to succeed.” 

Daisher and Wilson are scheduled to officially begin their new roles on July 1.
