The city of Santa Clarita illuminated the River of Lights, as well as two beams into the sky, in a tribute for the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at Central Park on Saturday. Simultaneously, residents participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb Challenge by going up and down the stairs 13 times. Every time residents made it to the top, they placed a flag, to honor the first responders that went up 110 stories to rescue victims in the World Trade Center towers.
