Paul Slade Smith’s political satire “The Outsider” is being performed at the Canyon Theatre Guild through Nov. 1.
“The talented cast of ‘The Outsider’ provides never-ending laughs in this fast-paced, hilarious and refreshing political farce,” Director Barry Agin said in a CTG news release. “The ongoing theme that everything that can go wrong does go wrong but somehow turns out right will keep you entertained from start to finish. Clever dialogue and outrageous situations make for a fun time at the theater.”
Ned Newley doesn’t even want to be governor. He’s terrified of public speaking; his poll numbers are impressively bad. To his ever-supportive chief of staff, Ned seems destined to fail.
