SCCS girls v-ball falls in quarters

Santa Clarita Christian girls volleyball lost, 3-0, to Capistrano Valley Christian on the road Saturday in a CIF-Southern Section Division 9 quarterfinal.

Game scores were 25-12, 25-21 and 25-10.

The Cardinals advanced through the postseason’s first two rounds with two five-game wins, over Coast Union of Cambria and Oakwood of North Hollywood.

SCCS ends its season at 13-10-1 overall. Capistrano Valley Christian is 26-2.
