I’m a resident of the Santa Clarity Valley and a student at College of the Canyons. I’m a mother of two and would love to have a place where my children can actually visit, appreciate, and understand why we have the freedom we have.
It was solely because of the bravery of the men and women who served our country that we have liberty to enjoy today.
I believe that the monument should be illuminated in bright lights within the extended pergola, like the stars in the sky, because our veterans themselves are stars in their own right.
I urge all SCV citizens to encourage our city leaders to act. Our fallen heroes acted for us. We must now act for them!
