While reading the list of applicants for the City Council vacancy, I noticed the name of Eugene Dorio, M.D.
I can enthusiastically describe Dr. Dorio as the most unselfish person I have ever met.
I met him years ago when I and many others supported his crusade to retain the transitional care unit at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Since then, I have had the opportunity of conversing with Dr. Dorio.
His thoughts and ideas reach far beyond the medical field, affecting all citizens of Santa Clarita in a positive manner.
If you know Dr. Dorio, you are certain he would be a superb addition to our City Council. If you don’t know Dr. Dorio, it’s unfortunate.
His possible selection and tenure on our City Council will verify the feelings I have just expressed.
