I’m writing in response to Gwendolyn Sims’ column “Trying to take back America” in Friday’s Signal.
Although Trump proposes to “ban Muslims,” Ms. Sims proposes to suspend immigration from “terror-prone regions.”
I ask, just what regions does she suggest? Europe? Africa? Central Asia? South Asia? Of course, she’ll include the Middle East (no more Israelis).
Let me assure her, no alien is vetted in his or her own country by anything more than a police check, and that’s only for immigrants, not non-immigrants (tourists, students). And none get polygraphed.
