Valencia High boys volleyball swept Saugus, 3-0, on Thursday night at home, 25-18, 25-21 and 25-20.
Juniors Andrew Johnson and David Chun led the Vikings with nine kills each.
Sophomore Dorian Ellis, a 6-foot-4 middle blocker, followed with eight kills, four of which came in the match-sealing third game.
Valencia is 7-12 overall and 2-1 in league.
After spring break, the Vikings will return to Foothill League play on April 12 at home against Golden Valley.
Saugus (7-7, 2-1), which opened league with 3-1 wins over Canyon and Golden Valley, will host Hart after the break.
West Ranch 3, Hart 0
The Wildcats (9-3, 3-0) won by scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-13 at home on Thursday night. Michael Flores had 13 kills to lead West Ranch, while teammate Derek Seo followed with 11.
Connor Bertolett had 13 digs, and Tyson Drake had 33 assists.
Hart is 5-4 overall and 1-2 in league. The Indians will play at Saugus on April 12.
West Ranch will play at Canyon.
Canyon 3, Golden Valley 0
Canyon improved to 2-9 overall and 1-2 in league. The Cowboys will host West Ranch on April 12. The Grizzlies fell to 14-7 and 0-3 and will play at Valencia after spring break.
