The West Ranch High varsity football game scheduled for tonight at Burroughs High in Burbank has been postponed.

The schools rescheduled the contest for 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at Canyon High, according to West Ranch Athletic Director Cassandra Perez.

The decision to postpone the game was made by the Burbank Unified School District, according to Hart district spokesman Dave Caldwell.

Concerns about air quality stemming from a fire along Interstate 210 and the heat were contributing factors in Burbank’s decision, Caldwell said.
