Foothill League girls soccer roundup: Hart shuts out Canyom

Hart girls soccer shut out Canyon at home on Tuesday afternoon.

Taylor Moorhead, Izzy Reyes and Alyssa Irwin each scored for the Indians, who move to 10-5 overall on the season and 3-0 in Foothill League play. Hart, the only team to open league with three consecutive wins, will play West Ranch on Thursday at home at 3:15 p.m.

Canyon is now 6-4-2 and 2-1 and will hit the road to take on Saugus at 3:15 on Thursday.

West Ranch 1, Valencia 0

Freshman Jenna Catalano scored for the Wildcats with an assist from Danielle Lium. Goalkeeper Bridgette Caffrey registered a shutout for the Cats (7-5-1, 1-1-1).

West Ranch will host Hart on Thursday at 3:15 and Valencia (4-4-4, 0-2-1) head to Golden Valley for a 3:15 game on Thursday.

Saugus 3, Golden Valley 1

Breeanna San Lucas, Shaina Berdin and Nicole Frazier each scored goals for the Centurions, who move to 8-3-3 and 1-0-2 on the season.

Golden Valley is 2-7-2 and 0-3 and will face Valencia at home on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. Saugus will host Canyon at 3:15 on Thursday.
