The bridge at Golden Valley Road and Sierra Highway was recently completed and dedicated. The bridge was built to make crossing the highway safe for students attending Golden Valley high school and other pedestrians.

I live close to this intersection and noted nobody is using it.

The students leaving the bus stop walk to the street light and cross when the light turns green like they have always done.

So what was the need of this state-of-the-art bridge that took forever to build and cost who knows how much?
