“Marlee Lauffer’s body of work in communications and outreach with Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and the high esteem the community has for that organization, demonstrates the skill and dedication she brings to the Santa Clarita Valley.”
— Richard Budman, Signal Publisher/Owner
Marlee Lauffer is a well-known member of the Santa Clarita Valley’s leadership echelon, with more than two decades of experience in voicing the perspective for two of the business community’s largest organizations: the Newhall Land & Farming Co., the SCV’s largest developer, now known as FivePoint; and her current role, as vice president of marketing and communications for Henry Mayo.
In addition to serving as president of the hospital’s Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation through her work as its public relations leader, she also serves on the board for the Bank of Santa Clarita, where she’s a founding director. Lauffer has also held a variety of leadership roles for SCV-based nonprofit organizations, including the Zonta Club of the Santa Clarita Valley.
One of the noted consistencies in both organizations she’s been involved in has been corporate generosity and involvement in supporting nonprofit agencies. One of her most recent and significant successes has been the large fundraising effort she led on behalf of the not-for-profit hospital, which just opened a new patient tower.
