“A vaccine to prevent COVID-19 is the best hope for ending the pandemic.”

At this point in time there is no vaccine to prevent COVID-19.

We have many diligent researchers who are racing against time to develop this vaccine to curtail this virus.

And to this I say “godspeed.”

If you are unfortunate to be re-infected , GOD FORBID, it will take months or even years after being vaccinated that it will work with “long-term infection protection.”

America is between a rock and hard place in hopes that the vaccine will be developed in a timely manner.

You have heard this before: The simplest way of protecting yourself is to abide by these cautionary measures:

Avoid close contact

Wear mask and gloves

Practice good hygiene

Etc., etc., etc.

Please don’t feel that you have an immunity to this deadly and insidious virus. You are not immunized because you are a human being!

You have a lot to offer to the world once the pandemic is over.

So, stay safe and healthy, and follow the rules.
