Response to Richard Myers’ letter of June 2:
Colin Kaepernick wasn’t right to “take a knee” during the national anthem. Protesting police brutality has nothing to do with honoring those who fought and died for our country.
I wouldn’t want to be in the shoes of any of the four police officers involved in the George Floyd murder. The law is taking care of this situation. Too many people are taking advantage of this debacle by looting and destroying property. It’s obvious to me, many mayors and governors are “taking a knee.”
