Thank you, Norma Lindemann, for a thoughtful letter (Oct. 18) to the editor, and thank you to The Signal for publishing it. In today’s fractured society, reminders of the need to try to understand our fellow citizens are important. Hopefully there is more that unites us as Americans than just our different opinions.
