LASD seeks community’s help finding missing 70-year-old woman

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public for help to locate a 70-year-old Santa Clarita woman, according to a missing person alert sent by the department Friday. 

Patricia Holdefer was last seen on Thursday at 11:11 p.m. in the 30000 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road. Holdefer is described as white, 5 feet, 3 inches tall, 105 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white Columbia-brand jacket with blue jeans and black shoes. 

According to the alert, Holdefer is believed to be traveling in her silver 2012 Volkswagen Jetta with an Arizona license plate. The number on the plate reads CDH9747. 

Holdefer may be heading to the 10000 block of Coolhurst Drive in Whittier, according to the alert. She has a medical condition that requires medication and her family is concerned for her well-being, according to the alert.
