Walk 4 MHF, a family-friendly community walk that brings together families, supporters, volunteers, and local partners to raise funds and awareness for children and families facing pediatric cancer, is scheduled to be held March 28 at Santa Clarita Central Park.

The event supports the Michael Hoefflin Foundation’s mission of providing direct financial and emotional assistance to families during treatment, survivorship and loss.

The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is a pediatric cancer support nonprofit based in the Santa Clarita Valley and has served families for over 30 years. The foundation was created in memory of Michael Hoefflin, a local child who bravely battled cancer and died from the disease.

Check-in begins at 8 a.m., and the program and walk begin at 9 a.m. Central Park is located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.

MHF provides direct support such as gas and grocery assistance, hospital parking passes, counseling services, memorial support, and family connection events, helping families focus on care, comfort, and moments of normalcy during an incredibly difficult time, the release said.
