As “Passing Wind” approached its closing bow at The Main, I found myself filled with an unusual mix of emotions: profound gratitude, creative pride, and a lingering suspicion that my characters will continue interrupting my sleep with their madcap chaos.
Launching a world premiere is a bit like a high‑wire act — it requires a lot of balance, a bit of bravado, and a huge net held aloft by a talented cast and crew, to whom my gratitude is eternal. It also helps to have a magnificent, well-maintained venue such as The Main to provide a premium theatrical experience for our audiences.
To the theatergoers of Santa Clarita and beyond: thank you. Your laughter has been the best feedback a playwright could ask for. You’ve proven there is still a healthy appetite for new, original stories — especially the ones that aren’t afraid to be a little irreverent (or even a lot irreverent).
If you’ve attended a performance, thank you for being part of this debut.
