4 Huskers from SCV named to deans’ list for fall 2025  

More than 7,000 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the deans’ list for the fall semester of the 2025-26 academic year, including four from the Santa Clarita Valley. 

The four local students named to the deans’ list are:  

• Canyon Country: Kendall Rae Lescher, senior, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, forensic science.  

• Santa Clarita: Dawson Jeremy Bolder, freshman, College of Engineering, mechanical engineering.  

• Santa Clarita: Grace Catherine Gilroy, senior, College of Arts and Sciences and Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts, English and dance.  

• Santa Clarita: Sophie Mercer, sophomore, College of Arts and Sciences, psychology. 

Qualification for the deans’ list varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center. Students can be on the deans’ list for more than one college.  

Local students earn dean’s list recognition from George Fox University  

Six local students were among those who earned dean’s list recognition at George Fox University for the fall 2025 semester. Traditional undergraduate students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or above on 12 or more hours of graded work to earn a spot on the dean’s list.   

• Canyon Country: Savannah Stadtlander, senior, psychology. 

• Newhall: Bianey Carter, senior, nursing; Jordan Hahn, senior, nursing; Mya Hong, sophomore, interior design.  

• Santa Clarita: Emily Benavidez, junior, psychology; Jesse Gagnon, freshman, financial services.
