The Santa Clarita Elks Lodge No. 2379 was proud to donate to and sponsor a Canyon Country Little League team in the Challenger Division, an adaptive baseball program that gives children and teens with physical and intellectual challenges the chance to experience the joy of America’s favorite pastime, the Elks said in a news release.
Serving players ages 4 to 15, the Challenger Division creates an encouraging, inclusive environment where every athlete can participate, grow and celebrate their abilities, the release said.
“Our lodge’s support helps ensure these young players have the equipment, uniforms, and resources they need to take the field with confidence — and reminds them that their community is cheering them on every step of the way,” the release said.
