College of the Canyons football defeated Mt. SAC 28-17 for a Western State Bowl win on Saturday. Cougars quarterback Andrew Brito completed 26 of 45 passes for 217 yards and three touchdowns. Jarrin Pierce caught seven of Brito’s passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Leroy Deshazor had two receptions for 35 yards and one score.
