Under the guise of slowing an eternal and largely inevitable phenomenon (i.e., deaths of the old and infirmed), often questionably attributed in the present case to a germ that EVEN THEN has a 99%-plus recovery rate and an 80-year median fatality age per the Centers for Disease Control, our governor uses arbitrary and capricious rules to curtail freedoms and actively kill countless businesses due to his own pride (it’s “his moment”) and utter lack of appreciation for free enterprise — with the gall of patting himself on the back for it as his lemmings say, “Thanks for keeping us safe.”
