News release

Multivium, a nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive, accessible programs for children with disabilities, is scheduled Sept. 20 to host its annual Here 4 Fun Day, a free community celebration designed to spark joy, foster connection and create meaningful experiences for kids of all abilities, the organization announced in a news release.

Now in its third year, Here 4 Fun Day transforms the Canyon Country Community Center into a welcoming, sensory-friendly wonderland, the release said. More than 150 children and their families will gather for a day of hands-on activities including Lego car building an racing, a sundae bar, face painting, arts and crafts, carnival games, storytime, an electronic drum circle and more. The event will also offer a calm space designed for sensory regulation.

The event is to be staffed by 20-plus volunteers and supported by the city of Santa Clarita, alongside contributions from local businesses.

“At Multivium, we believe every child deserves spaces where they can feel seen, celebrated, and free to just be themselves,” co-founder Jackie Castro said in the release. “Here 4 Fun Day is more than a festival — it’s a community coming together to show that inclusion is not only possible, but joyful.”

Co-founder Vinnie Corbo added, “We design every detail with children with disabilities in mind, but the day is also open to neurotypical kids so that all children can collaborate, play, and build friendships together.”

Here 4 Fun Day is the flagship event of Multivium, a nonprofit founded in 2022 by Castro and Corbo.

The event is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Canyon Country Community Center, 18410 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita.
