Revenge and retribution seem to be some of Donald Trump’s priorities and it is hurting all Americans, Democrats and Republicans alike. Trump’s vengeance against his political enemies who are sounding off in their right to free speech has Trump in a state of quandary. Trump has gone after politicians, talk show comedians, TV commentators, etc.

By fixating on this revenge and retribution debacle, Trump is taking precious time away from the American people who are losing sleep over high prices for groceries and health care and everyday commodities, which he promised to fix on his first day of his presidency. This is a reflection on Trump’s disregard for financially burdened Americans.

Trump is getting angrier as he faces his challenges. Trump’s approval rating from the Gallup poll is at 36% (as of December), and his economic management is also poorly rated. Trump’s revenge and retribution campaign is hurting CIA morale and wrecking bipartisan trust that allows Washington to function. Trump’s tactics, insulting female reporters, attacking immigrants and threatening a land war against Venezuela, only deepens his woes and the nation’s suffering.

Again, these distractions draw attention away from addressing the crucial issues of the economy, health care and high prices at the grocery store, etc., which are the public’s top priorities.

To add salt to the wound, insulting female reporters, attacking immigrants and the other tactics mentioned above doesn’t fare well with John and Jane Doe. Again this negativity of revenge and retribution campaign of Trump’s only adds to his woes.
