Community members gathered recently for a breakfast meeting to kick off plans for the 2026 Santa Clarita Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

The meeting at The Flying Yolk restaurant in Valencia was hosted by the California Southland Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The 2026 Santa Clarita Walk to End Alzheimer’s is scheduled Saturday, Oct. 3, at Bridgeport Park in Valencia.

Walk committee members shared their personal reasons for getting involved in the planning and “day of” efforts. Donna Cohen, an Alzheimer’s Association staff member and the walk manager, invited guests to come on board. Bryan Cunningham and Dillon Lutza, longtime planning committee members, gave an overview of what participation looks like.

For more information on how to participate, contact Cohen at [email protected] or 323-760-9931.
