The following is a copy of a letter sent to Rep. George Whitesides and representatives of the city of Santa Clarita and Los Angeles County.
I just attended the Jan. 7 meeting at the Santa Clarita Activities Center about the Bouquet Canyon road closure. John Musella (representing) Lennar basically said to the public that shortening the duration of the Bouquet Canyon road closure would cost too much money — even after the Sheriff’s Department and Fire Department said the closure would increase the response time during emergencies. Lennar can do things different but it will cost too much money.
Wow, life is not more valuable than money?
Unacceptable.
Please help in any way possible!
