News release

“Disconnect,” a play written by the late local resident Lee Clarke and directed/produced by his son Eric Clarke, is being presented this weekend at The Main in Old Town Newhall.

“‘Disconnect’ is a heartfelt drama laced with comedy and insight, about a man who finds himself transported into a strange environment after mountain climbing,” said a news release from the producer. “Soon he is met with an omniscient being who is a woman drinking beer, eating chips and watching TV. Funny and poignant, the play is powerful and life-affirming.”

Performances are scheduled 8 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $20 at the door or available online at atthemain.org. The Main is located at 24266 Main St., Newhall.
