So did you pay attention? Did you read the opinion section of the Feb. 18 edition of The Signal. If not, I suggest you read everything on that page. Not only were the three letters to the editor great, but also the two columns were dead-on.
After reading Dan Walters’ column, I cannot understand how anyone (even Democrats) can feel that Gov. Gavin Newsom has done a good job. Millions wasted and a budget that was billions out of balance, prove that he, his staff and the Legislature are all incompetent.
Also, I was amazed that I found myself agreeing with Gary Horton! OMG! He pointed out what a fiasco and joke our L.A. County Board of Supervisors is by trying to get voters to raise taxes again. Another half-cent, which they say will be a “temporary” tax. Ha, ha, ha! And you know what? It won’t surprise me at all if the people pass it in November.
So take the time to go (read) The Signal opinion page for Feb. 18. Eye opening!
