Cooper Luckenbach named to dean’s list at Lincoln Memorial 

Cooper Luckenbach, of Santa Clarita, was named to the Lincoln Memorial University dean’s list for the fall semester of 2025. Luckenbach is seeking a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.  

To be placed on the dean’s list, the student must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade-point-average for the semester. More than 750 students were recognized for high acacademic achievement. 

Lincoln Memorial University, in Harrogate, Tennessee, is a values-based learning community dedicated to providing educational experiences in the liberal arts and professional studies. 

Local students named to Pacific University dean’s list  

Two local students have been named to the fall 2025 dean’s list at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. 

Named to the dean’s list were Gabriel Chavez, of Canyon Country, and Ella Mee, of Newhall. 

The dean’s list recognizes undergraduate students in Pacific’s College of Undergraduate Studies who earn a grade-point average of at least 3.70 and complete 12 or more graded hours. 

Pacific University is Washington County, Oregon’s only comprehensive university, offering over 50 undergraduate majors and 28 graduate and professional degrees. Pacific serves its communities through campuses in Forest Grove and Hillsboro, and health care clinics throughout the Portland area. 

Matthew Cole named to Linfield’s fall 2025 dean’s list 

Matthew Cole, from Valencia, earned dean’s list honors at Linfield University during the fall 2025 academic term. 

The dean’s list identifies undergraduate students who earned a GPA at least equivalent to a cum laude (3.65) while taking at least graded 12 credits. It is computed following the posting of grades at the end of each semester.  

Cole is a sophomore at Linfield, majoring in an undeclared field. 

Linfield University is an independent, nonprofit university with campuses in McMinnville and Portland, Oregon, as well an eCampus for online learning. Since 1858, Linfield has connected traditional liberal arts experience with practical education in more than 50 majors, including wine studies, sport management and nursing. Linfield also offers interdisciplinary master’s degrees in business, nursing and sports sciences.
