The Saugus Union School District is seeking nominations for the annual Dr. Joan Lucid Leadership and Service Award.
The award, which honors Lucid, who retired in June 2018 after nearly four decades as an educator/administrator in the Saugus district, will be given to an individual or group that has made a significant contribution to the learning and development of students in the district, according to a district news release.
Nominations will be accepted until April 17 and the award will be presented at a future Saugus district governing board meeting, the release said.
Nominations can be completed online via the following form: forms.gle/9H35XVJcmnf1FfVG9. Nominations will be reviewed by governing board representatives and district leadership members after April 17.
The recipient of the Dr. Joan Lucid Leadership and Service Award will be notified by May 30, the release said.
