The Unitarian Universalist Church of Santa Clarita Valley invites the community to celebrate the planet at a special Earth Day Pop-Up event on Saturday.
This free, family-oriented gathering offers hands-on activities designed to inspire environmental stewardship in all ages, said a news release from the church.
Attendees can participate in several interactive stations, including:
- Seed Starting: Planting seeds in biodegradable pots to grow at home.
- Eco-Crafting: Painting rocks and building environmentally sound bird feeders.
- Earth Day History: An educational station exploring the roots and impact of the Earth Day movement.
The event is scheduled 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Vibe Performing Arts (Valencia Plaza Shopping Center), 24460 Lyons Ave, Newhall.
