Re-elect Maria Gutzeit and Ken Petersen as the Division 3 representatives of the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency:
Maria and Ken have done great work to make sure we have safe, reliable and affordable water here in the valley, and they have been doing it consistently for a long time. Maria, as board president, has been diligent in ensuring efficiency and keeping our water rates reasonable. Ken, as a board member, has been using his long professional water utility experience to keep SCWVA facilities in good shape to handle water supply and delivery. Both are engineers by trade and don’t let political issues get in the way of doing what is needed and right for the valley’s water.
Both Maria and Ken are longtime valley residents, with committed interest in the wellbeing of the SCV. With Maria and Ken on the board, SCVWA customers need not worry about the quantity, quality and reliability of the water that comes to their homes and businesses.
I will be voting to re-elect Maria Gutzeit and Ken Petersen as the Division 3 representatives of the SCVWA, and I urge my neighbors to do the same.
