I’m writing in support of Gloria Mercado-Fortine for City Council. I’ve known Gloria for more than 35 years. We’ve worked together on various projects with the Boys and Girls Club, William S. Hart Union High School District and the Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society. She’s been involved with the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, Child & Family Center and other nonprofits serving the SCV. She is a very dependable leader. Over the years Gloria has demonstrated the ability to listen to people’s concerns and forge opportunities for our youth. She is very caring and responsible. A visionary. These are some of the keys for a successful City Council member.
Gloria grew up in the SCV and graduated from Hart High School. Her dedication has enhanced our community. She wants to continue to serve our community. A class act! I wholeheartedly support Gloria for City Council.
