For me, meaningful leadership begins with listening. Our students, families and staff deserve school board members who take the time to understand the different strengths and needs across our district. I believe Kevin Kim is that kind of leader.
At a recent local candidate forum, I had the opportunity to speak with Kevin about our district. I shared that while we have areas where growth is needed, we also have many successes that deserve to be recognized and celebrated. Kevin listened with genuine interest and responded with encouragement. I left our conversation feeling that he truly understood that effective leadership means acknowledging what is working while thoughtfully addressing what needs to improve.
As a father of children in our district, Kevin has a personal connection to the decisions made by the board. As an attorney, he brings experience in careful analysis, problem-solving and sound decision-making.
I believe Kevin has the compassion, judgment and positive outlook needed to help course-correct our district and move it forward. I proudly support Kevin Kim for the Saugus Union School District governing board.
