A man was killed after a crash Thursday evening on the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Magic Mountain Parkway when another driver crashed into the scene of the accident, according to California Highway Patrol spokesperson Carlos

A minor earthquake was recorded near Valencia at 2:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.   The 2.5 magnitude earthquake took place 10 kilometers, or 6.2 miles, south southwest of Valencia, near Mentryville Park.
