Santa Clarita Philharmonic Orchestra Announces Student Concerto Competition

The Santa Clarita Philharmonic announces its third annual Student Concerto Competition. The winner of the competition will perform with the orchestra at its May 21, 2017 concert. The competition is open to all Junior and Senior High School students in the area covered by the William Hart Unified High School District including public, private, and charter schools.

Students must submit an application indicating the selection that they would like to perform as well as approval from their music teacher. Auditions will be held on February 4, 2017. Please visit the orchestra’s website, www.scphilharmonic.org, for detailed instructions and the application form. All applications must be submitted by November 17, 2016.
