Our representatives must not support the proposed merger of Castaic Lake Water Agency with Newhall County Water District under SB 637.
With all our groundwater consolidated under one monopoly, what is to stop this new mega-agency from shipping our less expensive groundwater to Newhall Ranch and other new developments while we, the existing residents, pay more for imported water and must cut back on use?
