Ted Sirotta joins Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital as CFO

Ted Sirotta has joined Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital as senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital as has named Ted Sirotta senior vice president and chief financial officer, the hospital said in a statement. Previously, Sirotta was with Vail Health in Vail, Colorado, where he served as Senior Vice President and CFO. Prior to that position, he held the same positions at Northwestern Medical Center in Vermont.

Sirotta, a Certified Public Accountant, has more than 20 years of leadership experience with both non-profit and for-profit hospitals and healthcare systems around the country. As an executive level leader, his responsibilities have extended from operations to finance.

During his tenure at Vail Health, Sirotta managed a $300 million facility plan and construction project and related bonds, which have maintained an “A” rating. Among his many significant accomplishments are the implementation of a new cost accounting system; the restructuring of revenue cycle management and staffing; and the development of a narrow network program with large self-insured employers to capture more market share.

Sirotta holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and is certified as a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In addition, he was named CFO of the year by Quorum Health Resources among 150 Quorum CFOs nationwide.

Sirotta, who grew up in the San Fernando Valley, has moved to the Santa Clarita Valley with his wife Monika. They have two children; a daughter who is attending college, and a son who lives in Los Angeles and owns his own digital marketing company.
