Businesses operating in the Santa Clarita Valley have partnered to create a monthly social mixer designed to offer a space for real estate agents and other professionals to connect.
Oksana Management Group, an agency that offers after-school activities in the SCV, is working with Valencia businesses The Paseo Club and Crown Capital Lending to offer the first of several mixers at 4 p.m. on Feb. 7 at The Paseo Club.
“(This) mixer is mainly to bring professionals from all walks of life together, with the goal in mind of generating among the partnerships both new valuable personal friendships and productive business transactions,” said Alex Concas, co-founder of Oksana Management.
The February mixer is set to feature guest speakers Philford Jeffords of Crown Capital Lending, and Master Chef Pierre-Marie Leprince, a top executive at Princess Cruise Lines, for upcoming events, said Concas.
For those with children, a designated “kids corner” at The Paseo Club will offer participants’ children an opportunity to play in a supervised game room and outdoor playground while parents network.
As a social mixer perk, Crown Capital Lending will offer a no-cost appraisal on all conventional loans, which could save borrowers, “who are purchasing or refinancing, hundreds of dollars, while crediting up to $525 at closing (excluding rush fees),” according to Oksana Management in a news release.
“These mixers are not only totally free of charge for attendees, but also come along with perks like free OMG lessons in any subject, drink ticket for a house wine or beer, free appetizers and one free month of membership at The Paseo Club for any client of a Realtor who sells a home valued at $500,000 and up (which is valid on new memberships only),” Desi McBride, general manager of The Paseo Club, said in a prepared statement.
Concas also announced that, come Jan. 19, Oksana Management plans to offer group piano and guitar lessons for children of club members and non-members at The Paseo Club, with classes scheduled to run from 1 to 3 p.m. every Saturday.
