T.J. Maxx is relocating from its current Canyon Country location to The Plaza at Golden Valley and set to open Thursday.
Formerly located at 19361 Soledad Canyon Road, the new locale will be at 19211 Golden Valley Road, replacing the Bed Bath & Beyond that closed its doors in September.
“Our newest store in Santa Clarita will offer an ever-changing selection of high-quality, on-trend and brand-name merchandise at the amazing prices T.J. Maxx is known for,” Tim Miner, president of T.J.Maxx, said in a prepared statement. “Our buyers create a unique mix that offers value for styles in every department, and we’re excited to bring this experience to a new neighborhood.”
In celebration of its new location, T.J. Maxx is set to present a $10,000 donation to Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley at its ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Shoppers can celebrate the new store’s grand opening on Thursday, with reusable bags expected to be given to the first 500 customers.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled 7:30 a.m. on Thursday followed by its grand opening day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Regular store hours are set to be 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays.
