Lief Labs, a nutritional supplement manufacturing company, leased a 52,000-square-foot industrial building at IAC Commerce Center, adding to their 112,000-square-foot facility that houses their corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center that they leased in October 2018.

The property, located at 28790 Chase Place, features 1,630 square feet of office space, and a modern warehouse facility with 30-foot clear height and 10 dock doors. Lief Labs occupied the new space on Oct. 1. Lief Labs was represented by Ashland Pacific.

Recognized on the Inc. 5000 fastest growing private companies list, Lief Labs has been rapidly expanding for years. They originally started their business in 2008 in about 8,000 square feet, then grew to more than 30,000 square feet in several buildings. They then consolidated their operations in a 47,000-square-foot facility on Industry Drive, after outgrowing their multiple units in the Valencia Industrial Center. In 2018 after further expansion, they moved to their new headquarters on Avenue Paine in Valencia.

Lief Labs has a growing staff of more than 170 employees and is on track to double sales in 2020 during one of the toughest years of uncertainty and expansion risk. Despite this year’s unique challenges, Lief has not shied away from investments into expansion.

Holly Schroeder, president & CEO of the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corp., said, “It has been so exciting to watch Lief’s incredible growth and expansion over the past few years. As one of the Santa Clarita Valley’s valued employers in the health and wellness sector, we are thrilled by their commitment to stay and grow in our region.”

“It takes a lot of work to succeed but we gladly take on the challenges,” added Adel Villalobos, Lief Labs’ CEO and founder. “We have a vision for this organization, and it will take a team of champions to get there. What is special about our team is that they know that championships are won by teams, not one person. We have a winning mentality at Lief and will continue to develop our team and bring in great talent to achieve our vision. Any issues we face are opportunities for us to overcome. Whoever said winning was easy? I am grateful for our clients and hardworking staff.”
