The Santa Clarita Elks Lodge No. 2379 recently presented a $1,500 check to the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center at Bella Vida, supporting the center’s Meals on Wheels program and food pantry.
Funded through an Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant, this contribution helps provide weekday meal deliveries to more than 500 homebound seniors across the community.
Several Elks are among the volunteers who transport these meals, ensuring that local seniors receive both nourishment and a friendly connection, said a news release from the Elks. “This partnership reflects the Elks’ ongoing commitment to caring for those who need it most,” the release said.
