(A poem, not a song, for the holidays)

You better watch out
There’s no need to cry
It’s too late to pout
Here’s telling you why
Donald Trump is coming to town.

He’s making a list
And checking it twice
Figuring out who’s naughty or nice
Donald Trump is coming to town.

You better watch out, don’t tweet that retort
Or else The Donald will take you to court.
As confounder in chief he’s coming to town;
He’s told you what you’ve loved to hear
Repeated many times.
He knows that in less than a year
You’ll forget his thoughtless rhymes.

He’ll tweet you when you’re sleeping;
He tweets when you’re awake;
He knows when you’ve been bad or good
So don’t cross him for goodness sake.
